So many people have a misconception of what is good fat and what is bad fat. From the feedback I have been getting, you all seem interested in knowing the "skinny on fats".
I have composed a few key points to help break down the basics of fats...
- contain anti microbial properties
- protects us from viruses, pathogenic bacteria and yeast in the gut (your intestines)
- directly absorbed for quick energy
- less likely to cause weight gain than commercial vegetable oils
- support immune system health
- regulates prostaglandin production
- most vegtible oils contain very little Omega 3's in them (hence that canola oil
sitting in your pantry...throw it away!)

- NOT made by our bodies
- Essential to our health
- too much can cause an imbalance in the production of prostaglandin
- imbalance of prostaglandin can cause blood clots, high blood pressure, irritation
of the bowl, weakened immune system, sterility, cancer and weight gain.
SATURATED FAT IS GOOD!
Most Americans believe that saturated fats are bad...well in all reality when following the methods of a traditional diet ( raw milk veggies fruits, organ meats ect...) our bodies need and crave saturated fats.

As a kid growing up eating lucky charms for breakfast every single day, I clearly was never functioning at my optimum capacity.
