Eat your greens!

Hello gorgeous! 

Its hump day, HOORAY! Only a couple more days until the long weekend :) In this post we are going to highlight my favorite type of green veggie: Kale. This superfood is going to help you get through the rest of the week with energy left to spend having fun with your family and friends!

If you are like I was back in the day, the only "green" stuff I ate was salad my mom or grandma made for me. I was never into eating any sort of greens like Kale or Sprouts because, well I just had no clue they even existed. I would have never been able to identify them at the grocery store..until I changed my lifestyle and eating habits around. Its just that easy. ONE thing at a time is all you need to change and improve your life (and your loved ones lives as well).

What is it?
  • A leafy green vegetable  that comes in a couple different forms such as scottish curly kale and another one being dinosaur kale which has glossy green and violet colored leaves.
  • A very sturdy vegetable, kale is relativly easy to grow in almost any condition.
  • A nutritious superfood!


Lets talk Nutritional benefits!
  • Kale is comparable to beef due to it being loaded with iron, protein and calcium.
  • Its anti-inflammatory properties are unmatched when compared to other leafy greens.
  • Eating Kale can reduce your risk of cancer, auto immune diseases, eye diseases,  lupus and arthritis.
  • Kale is very high in omega fatty acids as well which our brains LOVE...so eat up!!
